Special Material Applications

A composite material (or simply composite) has superior properties compared to the materials from which it is made. It is a mixture of two or more ingredients. Composites consist of two parts: reinforcement phase and binder (matrix). For example, in reinforced concrete, steel bars are the reinforcement phase; of sticks It is the concrete, binder or matrix in which it is embedded. In general, the reinforcement phase takes one of three forms may be present: particles, fibers or flat sheets. Composites are generally designed for a specific application. Since there is no single structural material that has all the desired properties for has been developed.
